i love liver and steak and kidney pies. where my mrs works there's a farmers market and the butcher therein, was fascinated to find someone who eats offal - I love steak and kidney pie and Liver and bacon, so she brings in offalof all sorts for my Mrs. I therefore have a great supply of kidney and liver and heart and brain. The last two of which go to the dogs, but I love the 1st and 2nd

I love a bit of medium rare liver, lightly floured with salt and pepper, then fried.

You can't get it here cos Americans only like steaks or McDonalds or pizza.

As always, nice to see that you follow my boring threads and posts. The logic of this response took a while for you to get out, though, I think you have done better.

The best way to lose weight is actually to read an iYAWNS thread every time you feel hungry.

By the time you wake from your boredom induced coma you'll have forgotten all about eating.

Correct IOC, the whole 'eating fat makes you fat' myth was based on one flawed study in the seventies.

As I said, various studies say various thing.

But correct me if I am wrong but I believe that easily broken down simple sugars and starches are more to blame for weight than fats themselves.

You and I both apparently but you do realise we might not reflect the rest of the population.

I was mildly surprised that the recent head-to-tail movement has not made a dent in the decline.

The Oxford Symposium on Food and Cookery's subject is Offal this year, for instance.

Re: Britain diet changes - less tea, liver, whole milk, white bread / more chips, pizza, pasta.
There is absolutely no reason why full fat milk is 'healthier' than skimmed milk, that's basically an old wives tale. Now it is more calorific, which means too much can make you overweight which is unhealthy.

Same applies to all natural fats - nothing 'fattening' or unhealthy about them, only risk is that they are calorific.
